I installed feisty a few weeks ago. I've been moving things to the
trash periodically, and have not yet emptied the trash.
I just noticed that the trash can icon on the top panel is showing an

I did read the comments on the other bug. Most of them seem to be
completely off-topic there as well.
The other bug is a report about how it's not possible to extract folders
using drag and drop, but the comments are talking about a different,
newer bug, which disables drag and drop extraction co

I installed spamassassin to use it with evolution. When I boot the
system, /etc/init.d/spamassassin starts the 'spamd' daemon, with these
flags:

That makes a spamd which listens on a socket for incoming connections.

Yes. I made the user using "sudo adduser tmp2", so everything is
fine. He can run XFCE4 for example. There was no previous "tmp2"
user, /home didn't have a tmp2 dir already existing, or any such
