The menu was not set visible which was, after a bug was fixed in
application-indicator, forwarded correctly to the menu in the applet.
The patch makes the menu visible now.

I get the same crash in every application using the AppIndicator when
killing indicator-application-service twice. So it seems a geenral
problem and not gnome-power-manager specific.

app_indicator_new() just calls g_object_new and there is no special
constructor set in AppIndicator, so it will only fails in OOM condition
which we usually do not check for. Sure there is a bug somewhere in
indicator-application, but it does not make sense to check for something
which is always va
