I'm shocked that Nautilus is missing this functionality. Ideally, i'd
like it to function like Firefox (as suggested by a forum poster), along
with the ability to drag & drop items into the main toolbar. At the
moment, this and the network settings manager are my only gripes with
gnome/Ubuntu.

forums, the best I've seen seems to require pam-keyring-tool which
doesn't appear to be in any ubuntu packages for gutsy, only for feisty.

Problem solved!
I figured out that a python script that I placed in the
~/.nautilus/python-extensions dir made the problem appear.
Moving it from there solved the problem.

GNOME rhythmbox 0.11.2 gutsy gibbon
Symbolic links in my music directory cause file import errors to be
displayed. However, the files will import and play correctly. Even if I
delete the errors they reappear every time rhythmbox gets restarted.

__pthread_lock, which may go into a spinloop), we still do not know

It looks like the problem is the asoundrc.asoundconf file. What happens
if you comment out, or remove the last two lines of that file? I would
expect sound to work again.

ok, so I have reinstalled the icon theme and gnome-system-monitor does not
crash any more when Firefox is running, so I guess this bug report might as
well be closed..

I'm having the same problem, using one nVidia card with two monitors
(laptop monitor + external LCD screen connected through d-sub contact),
running Ubuntu 7.10.
It has always worked before, but today, the laptop screen goes black
after gnome-screensaver starts, and stays black. I can only see the

I confirm the problem also affects Epiphany, and it's worse (no
workarrounds) because you can't change de dpi setting in about:config.
Opposite to FF3, only the page is scaled. The interface is the same as
other gnome apps, as it's pure GTK, not rendered by XUL.
