Well, fwiw, here is how I solved the problem
The version I had installed was libgnomeui_common_2.20.0_0ubuntu1. For
some reason, the removal script was trying to do a gconf-schema
/usr/share/gconf/schemas/libgnomeui-apport-gtk.schema. The problem is
that libgnomeui-apport-gtk.schemas has been remo

I have the same problem with latex created pdf files... except I do not
use evince but kpdf !
As for others above, xpdf and acroread print fine. Since this problem
arises only when using evince and kpdf, maybe it is due to something
they have in common. Could it be poppler ?

I have exactly the same problem as Jacob.
When i set gnome-power-manager to suspend on lid close, it suspends without
problems.
Typing "sudo xset dpms force off" in the Terminal switches off the screen.
Closing and opening the Lid produces following output in /var/log/acpid:

About 5% of the time when I try to refile a message in Evolution from my
INBOX to a different folder, I am unable to select a destination folder
from the pop-up "Select folder" dialog. To reproduce:
* Select a message in the INBOX
* Press ctrl
Solved.
System > Preferences > Keyboard > Disposition > US Englisg International

could you please add the dependency on ytnef in the packaged plugin?
Yesterday I removed some software from my laptop and, after removing
ytnef (synaptic did not complain about it) the plugin stopped working.
After reinstalling, everything is fine again.

I couldn't discover in Gutsy how to enable alt key codes or how to configure
xorg.conf (that is not more necessary) in order to type special unicode
characters like http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cedilha";

Now on Gutsy final and this is still happening. Every few minutes! If
you shut evolution down (evolution --force-shutdown) and then reopen,
you can then read emails. But, after a little while you open another
email and it hangs with "formatting message".
Any ideas anyone?
