1) open a mail (we'll call it MAIL1) in the inbox folder by double-clicking on
it.

i get similar bug with an install of ubuntu 7.04 from CD with safe
graphic mode. ( it occurs when i was in this mode and after the
installation. i reinstall it from zero in normal mode then my progress
bars are back... )

the connection to ftp basically works okay. when opening a file via the
connection in gedit it get's open write protected (as gedit shows).

I have the same problem with mounting and umounting my Lacie drive.
This is not a bug fix but a compromise I found.
I tried messing with my /etc/fstab file and was unsuccessful. I found,
however, that my /etc/mtab file recognized my drive as /dev/sdb1 which I

I am experiencing the same problem. If special characters are used in
the track names, SoundJuicer just quits. Ofcourse, this can be solved by
marking the option "strip special characters" but then all the
characters (including spaces) are transformed into underscores_

uninstalling the package solves the problem. I have not been able to
