Hi, i've try to edit /etc/fstab with correct device /dev/hda1 (standard fstab)
and restart Ubuntu Knot3.
After restart the icons are not visible on desktop, the devices is not mounted.
This problem is for my vfat partitions.
I don't have another ext3 partition.

Using today's Edgy updates, the printer is working fine, printouts are
perfect. However, the (recommended) (Suggested) driver is missing from
the package i believe, CUPS errors out when attempting to install it,
however, the High Quality Drivers both work fine.

Upon further investigation, i attempted using the web interface to
administer CUPS.
After selecting the port to add, it gives a list of drivers for the
iP4000. There are three to choose from:
1. Canon iP4000 - CUPS+Gutenprint v5.0.0 (en)

I have the same problem:
when gnome typing monitor brake finishes and the screen is released, the
buttons of the mouse does not work anymore.
I'm using Ubuntu 6.10 and my mouse is and A4 NB-20. The settings of the

Martin your issue sounds similar to mine. Interestingly mine seems to
always do it on the same songs, so it might be a problem with certain
tracks however I ripped all of my tracks the same way. I don't usually
run Rhythmbox minimized so I am not sure about the grey piece.

Rhythmbox freezes
I use both.
Even if I remove xfce and all related xubuntu-stuff, it still happens.
I'm thinking on doing a fresh install and see if that works.

Is preventing the fading effect the same as preventing the grab/ungrab
stuff? If not, I think introducing this new variable is the most
feasible short-term solution. For the long term, I agree, a cleaner
approach (like the observer or command patterns) would be preferable.

No, not that I know of. 'ulimit -n' says 1024, which as far as I know still is
the default.
When changing max open files to 10240 the error disappears.
