of xserver-xfree86 . When switching from graphical console
into the text console, sometimes the text is garbled and looks like

I apologize for sending this to both -kernel and -x lists. The reason
is that I'm not certain whether this is a kernel issue, an X issue,
or (most likely) a misconfiguration problem on my part with either
the kernel or X.
I run unstable, on which I have 4.3.0-7 of all X packages. Everything
w
st-installation scripts. I found
/var/lib/dpkg/info/xserver-xfree86.postinst though, and didn't see
anything wrong with it. But I'm no expert anyway.
Please help, I have no X right now!
It must be a little thing for the one who knows :-)

I have same problem ever since upgrading to 1:6.6.3-2.
The 1:6.6.3-1 works fine for me. So does the 1:6.6.2-2
This is on IBM ThinkPad R32.
When the system freezes, I can still ssh to it and run comm
much about post-installation scripts. I found
/var/lib/dpkg/info/xserver-xfree86.postinst though, and didn't see
