The only problem I see is package descriptions mismatching with actual content.
Which mismatch?

Is anybody paying attention to this bug? Direct rendering has worked
perfectly before with this card (MGA G400 DH), XFree86, xorg6.9, xorg7.0
but not xorg7.1 :( Should I have to revert to SW mesa?? Can the problem
be with the xserver, I have problems with the Voodoo Banshee card too,
see bug #39504
The problem might be from the way /var/lib/dpkg/info/xserver-xorg.config
selects the keyboard layout.
it contains a part that goes like this
db_get debian-installer/keymap || debug_report_status "db_get
debian-installer/keymap"
DI_KEYMAP="${RET##mac-usb-}"
DI_KEYMAP="${DI_KEYMAP##-latin1}"

Today 2:1.1.1-10 entered Testing and I was hit by this same bug.

Hello,
I now tried with X.org from testing again and first found the same
problem, but when I remove
Option "AccelMethod" "exa"
(Option "Accel" "True" is still there)
from xorg.conf at least 2d speed is up to normal again. I am a bit puzzled
by this cause I tried removing it before.
The problem is a diversion that an old installation of
nvidia-glx-legacy left on my system.
Now I don't have nvidia-glx-legacy installed anymore, but in my
/var/lib/dpkg/diversions I found these lines:
/usr/lib/xorg/modules/extensions/libGLcore.a
/usr/lib/nvidia/libGLcore.a.xlibmesa

This bug has now made it into testing, where it affects my Toshiba t9000.
Xorg.0.log looks similar to the one already reported, so I won't post it. If
there is specific info I can usefully supply, do please ask.
Many thanks

after lunch one thinks better
the line
DI_KEYMAP="${DI_KEYMAP##-latin1}"
is ment to remove the -latin1 parts
but ## deletes from the left.
if one replaces with
DI_KEYMAP="${DI_KEYMAP%%-latin1}"
it works as expected.

There appears to be a regression here in 2:1.0.3-2. That abomination
known as ISO8859-5 appears to be spreading again, stealing the
