Package: xserver-xorg-video-i810
Version: 2:1.6.5-2
Severity: wishlist
The i810 driver currently has both a main and a "modesetting" branch.
This other branch often works better, on some newer models, than the
regular i810 driver.
Would it be possible to include both of them in the i810 package? The
Fedora rawhide package for the i810 driver includes both, naming the
modesetting driver "intel" to avoid any conflicts.
It would help those of us with hardware not fully supported by the
current i810 driver.

Sorry, I missed this bug. i810-modesetting is now in unstable.
We don't anticipate putting it into etch, it's still too flakey for a
stable release.
