As it seems, woody systems with current security patches are also unable
to save XPM files on an absolute path name. The XFree 4.1 version from
the security team should also become updates.
I also wonder why this fix is still not available in sarge?

I'm trying to install xfree for Debian SID with ATI driver. Everything
goes successfully.
However, I can only get one xvideo output with this driver; a new video

I have tried to run X on a secondary graphichs card. It needs
int10 initialization, which works fine when using ia32. But
the same XF86Config-4 fails with pure64:

though i can maybe use my mind reader. I have an optiplex GX100
running under debian/hurd and ... have the same problem. This
driver require the kernel agp support (but obviously the hurd
does not yet have dma , bad luck).
If you self compiled your kernel look in the charact

in woody. Could you try installing/upgrading to sarge to confirm
the problem is fixed ?
Newer woody could not include fix for other than security bugs
but the version in sarge and sid (4.3.0) include a lot of fix for
such bugs.
