the logs are missing. though i can maybe use my mind reader. I have an optiplex GX100 running under debian/hurd and ... have the same problem. This driver require the kernel agp support (but obviously the hurd does not yet have dma , bad luck).
If you self compiled your kernel look in the character device section for intel agp and check that it is loaded by hotplug/discover (check this too if you use the prebuild debian kernel).
