Before mucking with hardware i tried few software things.
With 2.0.36 compiled as 686 and as 586 i had only 350Bogomips with a 350MHz
K6-2
BUT (!) with 2.2.0pre7 compiled with CONFIG_M586TSC=y i have my full 700
bogomips !

System Administration -> Display first and the you can set in in the
user preferences. This was the experience I had when trying to do the
same thing. It seems that the higher resolution has to be enabled by

Weird I just did some playing and Galeon will still do AA using the
MS-Core fonts its just stuff like Nimbus that no longer display in AA.

There is tkdict which should be able to look like a NextStep app if
you use some of the tk tweaks.

versions - I know this set works):

Can any debian-user subscriber who also subscribes to debian-changes
confirm that debian-changes is still active? I haven't received a
single email from that list yet in March. Just wonder if my email
address might have got lost.
