I have a CUPS server running and several clients using it. I have been
experiencing 2 problems:
When I use
$ lpoptions -l
in one of the clients, I get all the options with default values and not
with those set on the server. Is this the expected behavior? Any ideas

Things like page down, work normally. All other apps respond properly to
C-w or C-q.

I've been running sarge for more than a year and now xmms decided to
stop working. Sound works fine with Real player and with amarok.
If I load a list of existing files into xmms it just keeps going through
the list endlessly, like if the files didn't exist.
Any hints??

I'm trying to setup tdiary on a sarge box running apache2.
I've used
tdairy-setup copy /home/borges/public_html
and have everythng in place. I moved htaccess contents to
/etc/apache2/conf.d/tdiary as it seemed better to do.

I'm trying to run debfoster for the first time in sarge and it does not
work properly.
I can create a new keepers file with $ debfoster -q but if I start with
an empty list or try to delete a package from within it, nothing changes
in the keepers file and debfoster will not even let me out
