I have a CUPS server running and several clients using it. I have been experiencing 2 problems: When I use $ lpoptions -l in one of the clients, I get all the options with default values and not with those set on the server. Is this the expected behavior? Any ideas on how to have the server passing on the right values? On the server I have cups-1.1.20rc2 and on clients I have 1.1.15-4. 2. Another problem, CUPS seems to be considering a job as done too fast, if I send 3 jobs to the printer the printer might still be printing the first but I can't cancel the two others because CUPS considers them to be finished already. I would expect to still be able to access them on the queue and cancel them. As the logs bellow show, I couldn't cancel the jobs 8 seconds after submitting and I can tell you that the first job was still being printed. I guess that means that the job had already been sent to the printer, any way to delay that? Any help is appreciated. Cheers, Francisco.
