It probably has either a S or H attribute. I assume you used fips to
split the partition. The fips documentation deals with this. You need
disable virtual memory, remove these attributes from any files whi
just have it mount it on bootup?
Depending on the size, you could devote it to some directory like /home or
/usr. Copy whatever directory seems appropriate (using cp -a works) and
add the mount point to /etc/fstab.
