Hi,   I got a serious problem I think, perhaps you can help. I tried to install LINUX but when it tried to format a partition it gave an error. Now I can't access the partition with format, fdisk or anything else. I can only see a logical drive on the available space (the second partition)

wmgtemp terminates my WM

Hi, Oddly enough, if I start wmgtemp (0.3-1) in the WindowMaker's menu, it'll terminate the WM. But if I start it from the command line, it just reports "Chip not supported.". Anyone has an explanation to this behavior? Anthony

I'm thinking of buying a Canon Powershot A40 but need to confirm that it is supported in Linux. The gphoto2 website only lists the A50, which seems to be an older model. One or two people found on Google seem to think the A40 is supported but I need to be sure. Has anyone here used this camera? AC
