After upgrading to the latest stable distribution of debian, aspell no longer
shows german umlauts in the upper window. It uses blanks instead. But it shows
umlauts in the lower window with the suggestions.

I still cannot watch DVD movies. I can hear the audio
but I get xvideo errors and a blank screen.
I can watch divx movies fine.
