I've heard some bad things about ne2000 clones, but have used several from
different manufacturers and never had a problem. Performance isn't great,
but considering the price, they aren't all that bad for a small network.

What happened to movemail in the netscape communicator packages under

Hey all,
I'm attempting to install Debian via ftp on a Micron PII-267 but I can't

Yes I use rawrite2 under winnt 4.0. A couple of things you might try are:
1.Try a preformatted floppy.
2.If you are connected to a network logout and try running in standalone
mode.
Some of laptop computers should really be called winputers.

How do I set up a new DNS and new network card?
In advance, forgive the fact that you probably answer these questions a few
times a month, but I'm yet another new Linux user swamped in X - and I'm
sinking fast. In fact, I'm beginning to wonder why I'm bothering. Oh yeah, I

Sounds like you are trying to use the "new" 1.743Mb floppy image. Every time I

There is a web page dedicated to window managers for X. There you can
see most of them in action. I don't have to URL handy, but a search

Hi,
You may want to look in the file:
more /usr/doc/fetchmail/fetchmail-up
#!/bin/sh
test -r /etc/fetchmailrc && \
fetchmail --syslog --invisible --fetchmailrc /etc/fetchmailrc
It's an example you may use. Important thing is location of rc file.
