        If you are sure your modem is a Winmodem, then I'm afraid your outta
luck.  Sorry, but you'll have to go and get a real modem.  Winmodems
move some/most of the modem's work to the main computer's CPU.  Since
the manufacturers will, obviously (they do call it a WINmodem), only
make a driver available for Windows, there is no way to use it with
another OS.
