Hi everybody, I just installed gimp and was trying to resize an image
from 640x480 to 1024x768. I can't seem to do it. In gimp if you use
the resize the image it resizes the window and leaves the image at
640x480. Do you have any suggestions. I can't seem to get this task
done. There are no fe

That box is very similar to the hp9k-835. It's a hppa 1.0 chip set. I don't
think I have ever seen any binaries for that one. That system also has i/o
cards that are, well, different from the workstations. The 635 was never
produced in large numbers so finding drivers for the i/o system wou

I installed the latest WindowMaker at home, and upgraded the libraries as
discussed in previous posts to this list. I have 0.19.2 working fine at
work, and it seems that my two setups are identical (except for hardware
and kernel, of course). When I type startx with wmaker as the default

I'm having the same basic problem except I don't have X to get to
Midnight Commander and I don't get any characters after starting MC. I
have to go to another virtual console find the PID with ps and then kill
it. I have to reboot to get MC to start working again. I can't

Hello,
I've been messing around with Debian for about 2-3 months now. I recently
installed hamm on a 386 box built from recycled parts.
The modem seems to be configured properly, however, when I do "pon" it waits
about 1/2 a minute, dials my ISP's phone number, and disconnects in about
1/2 a minu
