Here's how I got flashplayer 10 working in Sid.
1. Downloaded install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz
2. tar xvzf install_flash_player_10_linux.tar.gz
3. the installer program didn't seem to work properly, so by brute force
I put the libflashplayer.so here:
/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libflashpla
