Problem with new hamm version of ncurses

xv-15 (3.10a-15) fails to work

I have installed xv3.10a-15 this version depends on libtiff3g I have also installed libtiff3g_3.4beta037-3 But when I type xv I get the following error xv: error in loading shared libraries libtiff.so.3: invalid ELF header Does any one how to solve this problem Thanks Oz Dror

I have installed the new version of FVWM95 (2.0.43b-2) the FvwmAudio did not work (no sound heard), I had to use FvwmAudio from an older version that works fine. Does any one know why or how can I find why? Thanks -Oz

RealAudio 5.0b1: NO sound under linux 2.x

I have just installed the new version of RealAudio, but there is no sound. I get the following message in /usr/adm/messages: Oct 16 09:25:32 OZ kernel: Sound error: Couldn't allocate DMA buffer sound does work for me in RealAudio 3.0 and other application. Any ideas?

Where is /usr/sbin/in.pop3d

Where is in.pop3d? In Debian version 1.2.x I had in.pop3d program in /usr/sbin it was called whenever an outside popclient request came. I do not see this program in the 1.3.1 distribution. is there a different program that handles incoming pop3 requests -Thanks Oz Dror
