lnetd will wait the route information.
So, the gw affects my telnet service. when telnet to me, login prompt
will appear after waiting sevel seconds. If I do not set the default
route, telnet will show login promp immediately.
How to solve the problem, except fix the gateway?

I am testing 2.4.12, 2.4.12-ac3 and 2.4.13pre3aa1
I experienced several lockups when testing "mtest01 -p 200 -w"
but I never experience lockups during normal working on KDE2
Can you give more information on your lockups?

I am using sid/2.4.13-pre2/reiserfs
When I was using vim on konsole, an accident caused a dirty reboot.
And after the reboot I had a bad .viminfo
Is that fs's fault?

It seems that patch is smart to find whether aaa/bbb/main.c
or bbb/main.c is need to be patched, isn't it?

For example, if the patch file "patch1" is like
diff -u --recursive --new-file aaa/bbb/main.c bbb/main.c
--- aaa/bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16 17:13:04 2001
+++ bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16 17:55:57 2001
...
and "patch2":
diff -u --recursive --new-file bbb/main.c aaa/bbb/main.c
--- bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16
I paste my /etc/lilo.conf here
Password is needed for "restricted kernel" when extra
command line is given to that kernel.
wish that helps.

Thanks for all replys.
I have known the methords to generate random numbers.
/dev/random is more safe , but time() is safe enough to me.
In fact I only need some different numbers for children's mahts.

sole, and it doesn't
have this problem.
Does that mean there are exploits in ttys' driver code?

I use random() in my program to generate a random number,
but every time when I restart my program I get the same number.
