X Font problem

Hi

I am using kde2.2, after installed xfonts-intl-chinese, the characters showed 
on my screen became very not smooth. So I removed xfonts-intl-chinese, 
but the problem still exists. I think perhaps there are wrong settings in
fonts files, but I am not familier with fonts configuration. How can I fix the
problem?
