Hey dear people,
I just noticed, that in Mint 17.3 Sound works on the Live-iso although
they use the older 3.19 Kernel. Maybe that helps.

This bug is still present, and i am suffering it right now.
I opened kaffeine, i was playing TV from dvb device.
I closed kaffeine, but it was still listed by 'ps aux' command as like as it'd
be in executi
I think kaffeine is the problem, it sometimes locks at closing it, it is
appareantly closed, but it is still running in memory (it is listed in ps
output), after that, if you try to run kaffeine again to play another movie,
it conflicts with the "still running" kaffeine and does not start. If you

I have passed a memtest86+ without finding error in RAM.
It is possible this bug to have relationship with #461636 and #405965 bugs.

Yes, this problem still continues for k3b and Ark, it seems has beem
fixed for videos opened with kaffeine.

I cannot mute from kmix, when i press mute key nothing happens.
But this bug is not pressent in all sound cards.
I have found two sound card in which the bug is pressent, but using one
more older sound card ( Ensoniq ES1371 [AudioPCI-97] (rev 06)) Mute does
work perfectly.
