I tried the 2019-04-11 debian-10.0-powerpc-NETINST-1.iso on a PowerMac G4
Silver (PowerMac3,4).
The image was burned to a CD-R and booted by Open Firmware.
A normal install was performed by keeping everything not otherwise mentioned as
default.
Proprietary firmwares were not manually added.

It has worked for me, but I had to do a little work to get it to accept the
ports repo without having the certificate for it on the CD.

Having done the complete install (including the workaround steps) yesterday,
and not wanting to spend the time to do it all again, I booted into rescue mode
and executes a shell in the /target system.
I had to manually mount /boot/grub from /dev/sa2 because the rescue mode didn't

used the default installation and "all in one partition" partitioning. Let me
