I think this is a kernel bug which is fixed in newer kernels.
Which kernel versions are supposed to have this fixed?
I have a similar problem (but, confusingly, intermittent -- sometimes
it fails, sometimes not) on a dual-processor smp G4 box running Lenny.
"uname -a" says:
Linux 2.6.26-2-powerpc-smp #1 SMP Thu Feb 11 02:55:28 UTC
2010 ppc
Is there a fixed smp kernel available from backports?
Thanks!
