I was wondering if anyone was trying to compile or put together a
package for mac-on-linux? The docs that came with the tarfile weren't
too clear on what extra libraries I need to get it to compile.

I'd need to compile nautilus.
However, yesterday I checked to see if nautilus was available precompiled

If nautilus works, does this mean evolution will compile?

Does that help any?

I wonder if it's safe to try to compile them from source.

Well, according to the documentation for the XFree 4.0 server, the
