hi
on my powerbook g4 with a swiss keyboard, both alt keys produce the same
keycode in xev. Is there a way to determine, which alt key is pressed?
I would like to use the right alt key as the right mouse button. Does
somebody know the correct keycode?
Thanks,

because the evolution package in debian-powerpc unstable is out of date,
I tried to build the source packages myself (I built gtkhtml, bonobo,
bonobo-conf and evolution) and it worked. So my question is, why do
these packages not go into the archive, when the builds for powerpc seem
to work?

I'm specially interested in tests of Mac OS 9.x and earlier and earlier
versions of Mac OS X as I can't test these myself.
This new version of MOL should sup

I wrote a little webpage[1] with tipps and tricks for using
the new debian-installer on powerpc (mostly on newworld macs).
If you like to help testing and hacking the new installer
have a look at it. The page also contains links to more general
d-i informations.

I just installed and compiled benh's 2.4.21-ben2.
It works perfectly on my titanium (even the HD-LED ;-))
if you compile your kernel with "make-kpkg" you will also get a

Hi
I have a "SmartDisk FireWire CD-R/W Drive" (the kernel reports it as

recognized.
I modprobe ohci1394 and sbp2, then the drive led's flash and the drive

Hi
I just updated my webpage[1] with the debian-installer images for
powerpc. The images contain the d-i udebs (modules) that are currently
in the archive. Please test the installer and report bugs. There are
probably plenty of them.
