y started after an "apt-get upgrade" a couple of days ago. One of the things that changed in the "apt-get upgrade" was pbuttonsd. Anyone know where I might be able to find an older version of pbuttonsd? I looked in /var/cache/apt/archives/ but some geius ran apt-get autoclean!

I unplugged the mouse and plugged it back in and the machine came back to life. I can't remember if I tried this on previous freezes. I think I've had about 4 of these freezes and they started happening at the same time as the failure to wake from sleep problem. Erik -- +----------
