Possible. I could feel that the PC is getting slow in Mac OS when the fan is
running fast(very noisy)

Hi,
When I load therm_adt746x it shows:

Hmm, take this one instead, it fixes an issue if the hwsensor-location
property doesn't exist.

Hi,
this patch shows the correct locations of the heat sensors present in
iBook and PowerBooks G4, instead of displaying them as being on CPU and
GPU (which is not always the case).
It applies on top of the precedent patch that is in your tree (Make
sure therm_adt746x only handles known hardware

That's what I did for my gDesklet. It is not tremendously efficient, but
works for me.

Hi,
I am using Debian Sarge on my new iBook and I was wondering which
arguments I should pass to the therm_adt746x module to control my fans?
What settings do you guys use?

Hi All!,
i use my iBook G4 since dec/03 and never used the module "therm_adt746x". Now
sometimes people post, that the module is important, and write things like,
"not using the module my damage your hardware"
is that true?

$ cd torsmo-0.17
$ patch -p1 < patch.diff

I finally managed to write my gDesklet.
It is very primitive, but at least works:

Please try it and tell me if
How to prevent the printouts to stdout of driver adt746x?

minutes:
iboox:~# uptime
