Hi,
can someone familiar with this matter summarize the current status of the
jdk-packages for powerpc? I run testing and just installed tomcat and
cocoon of the jakarta-project by hand. I also installed the blackdown
J2SDK 1.3 which is said to have a .deb but all I could find was an
i386-deb, so
I just installed Debian 2.2 on my powermac 7500. I am
having problems bringing up x. First, upon boot, the
system tries to start xdm, but it fails after the
screen flashes black three times. Next, if I simply
try startx as root I get a error message that I should
report this crash to the develope
