NEWWORLD BOOT message came back. Just went to the partition and reselected NewWorld boot partition selected finish and the install proceeded. Sarge installed just fine. Again the machine is a Quicksilver G4- one hard drive for debian and the other for OS X. THANKS Derek Enz
