I would like to give you a hand and be as much help as I can. I have a 12 inch PowerBook G4 that I suspect is afflicted by bug #714345. My sound worked properly under Wheezy. The Wheezy installer added snd-powermac to my /etc/modules automatically. Manually adding snd-powermac to /etc/modules under

Hello Charlie, please, please try to install 8.0 and you will see „my problem“. On a1k.org some other users tried it, with the same result. Which GUI do you select on installation? I am always using GNOME. Regarding the problems you mentioned, I never had them. Maybe it is also a combination o

Hi there, When I was installing Wheezy on my Pegasos II around 2013, I ran into the following issues: - the RDB partitioning didn't work (the disk I was trying to install on had RDB already), and made the installer to crash and burn in various ways. I changed my HDD setup to MBR, then it worked.

The bug report I left for the black screen problem was with Driver/Radeon: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=90220 Since you have an Nvidia card, maybe you'd want to file a separate bug report under Driver/nouveau. If my bug report is any indication, expect to be swamped with replie

By the way - I just looked at your installation instructions and I did not find anything about how to install in POWER Server environment, i.e., as a virtual machine (aka LPAR) on IBM POWER5 and later. The ppc64le using KVM will obviously be different, but people using powerpc (historically 32-bit
