Here's the output of my dmesg. I finally got it go to, i needed modules-init-tools. :) But, the gdm problem is still there. It fails to load gdm completely. Also it bombs out on vt switching. When I try to switch from X to VT, it completely kills the system, and because no one knows the key combin
