Hey,
I've just try to install debian from yellowdog's minimal install on
xserve. I've installed debootstrap and run it, after download I get this
error for every package. Any quick ideas?
Thanks.

Hi,

Sometimes the screen freezes on a maxi zoom of some screen part
when awakening.
I hava alsa and i stop it before closing.
When frozen, even ssh from another box is impossible.

Hi i just installed j2sdk1.3.1 from www.penguinppc.org and when i wanted
to add the path /usr/local/j2sdk1.3.1/bin to the PATH variable in
/etc/profile i noticed after a reboot, that when i open a gnome-terminal
or rxvt, and echo $PATH it does not include any of the changes i made in
either /etc/pr

I didn't know about this, as getting quik to w

A minor complaint-
I've read that Mozilla CVS in such a state of flux right now that it's not a
good idea to compile browsers like epiphany or galeon against it. Judging by
the dependencies listed by apt-cache show epiphany-browser i.e., it requires
mozilla-browser, not mozilla-snapshot-browser

into the D

Hi people. The new Apple License (APSL 2.0) is a true free software
license. Could we see now their Darwin source code to develop Linux
drivers? I'm not talking about copy & paste their code, that's not
possible because APSL is a noncompatible GPL license bu

Much thanks.
I succeeded with your help.
The script in alsa-driver needed to be runned despite the /dev/mixer and all
devices were there.
