Hi
I just installed debian on my Umax S900.
Is there an FAQ or something similar on how to
get xfree86 to work on it?
What mousedriver do I have to set?
What is the standard video card?
I am always getting a "no screens found" error.
Thanks in advance

Yes, in testing. As root, "apt-get install mozilla-thunderbird". You
should already have the testing repository lines there, right?
You also have the option of grabbing mozilla from unstable. I'm using it
right

Hi,
Another issue I am having is in finding where gnome-terminal went to!

from unstable also though my apt pinning seems screwed so I end up
commenting and uncommenting sources to install packages - what is the

So you are suggesting that I install gnome-core from unstable.
"sudo apt-get -t unstable install gnome-core" wants to remove
gnome-applets

Hi,
Are there Mozilla Thunderbird packages available?
Cheers,
Jon.
Hi,
It had to happen eventually and now it has - I upgraded from a version of
Debian unstable on my G4 Powerbook which had been running for 6 months.
I am now running testing and feel a little more confident that it is a
reasonable compromise between features and having to use the machine every

Hi all,

I installed a 2.4.21 benH kernel on it and got the Alsa sources 0.9.4-1 and
compiled them fine but when I try to load the modules I can see i2c loading and
then my ibook hangs up suddenly!
Anybody has an idea about what I can do to make it work, or
