OS X supports UFS? Which UFS? As in FFS (which open/net/free use)? That's
pretty cool but I figured OS X would have some nifty brand new filesystem.
And no, NetBSD can't use ext2fs as /. Using ext2fs for /home is a good
idea, I use it on my system with Linux and FreeBSD. Only problem is that

Actually, I have had a lot of trouble building working 2.4 kernels for

Of course, I use source that's meant for powerpc. It appears linux for ppc
has a ways to go before it's like linux for x86.
Does anyone else have so much trouble building work

Ciao a tutti,
I compiled a kernel from my iBook using the sources from the
kernel-sources-2.4.4 package and the patches from
kernel-patch-2.4.4-powerpc.
Now I have two troubles:
- the keyboard doesn't work under X. Every gives a different result!
- the trackpad

I think that my trouble is different because I have quite the same
lines in my XF86Config but the result from my keyboard is really
different and terrible! ;-)))

Don't open that message with Evolution, or Evo will crash.
That msg was broadcast on the Evo support list a few days ago, to a
less-than-enthusiastic reception.

I read various docs but I have few questions.
