Hello,
I am running Potato 2.2r1. I had trouble compiling mico example programs
and I fixed the problem by making a simple link:
ln -s libbsd-compat.a libbsd.a
I am not at all familiar with how debian bugs get filed and fixed, but I
hope this gets fixed in the future.

Hi,
libft-perl isn't (to the best of my knowlege) in the archives. It depends on
libjcode-perl, which is also not in the archives, but I don't know why.
S'pose somebody could push the magic button to get the build daemon to make
'em?
Thanks,
Peter

You can now compile and use battstat, the wicked battery monitor for the
Gnome Desktop, on your almighty Powerbook. Just install libapm4pmud and
rest back watching your battery draw and die.

Check the Screen section of your XF86Config file. I saw the same thing happen
with a powermac clone. The driver was set to "accel". Try changing it to
"fbdev". A word of extreme caution: anXious did not do a good job of setting
up XF86Config for the powermac clone's Keyboard section either.

Could you post the gory details? It's hard to do much without them...

There are 2 things that we would need to know to be able to give you a
proper keymap:
- the version of the kernel, the new input layer appeared in 2.2.17

I don't know if there is such a keymap somewhere. However, if you can get a
kernel with the new input layer and Linux keycodes running, you could use the
standard i386 keymaps,

I'm searching for a german X11-keymap that works fine on the Powerbook Firewire.
Has anybody a @ with default keymap?
I don't understand the X11 keymap concept ...
Has anybody working keymaps ?

That's just MHO. I've not tried to reproduce this with atyfb, and I'd
probably need an objdump -d --start-address=
output from you if I cannot reproduce it h

not really, it just means you don't have a framebuffer configured in
your kernel. intel machines usually do not use a framebuff

Bit of a newbie question.
I am running a vanilla install of potato on a mac beige g3/233 with
exim/apache/python/netatalk and no X. It works well, except that every so
often ( sometimes twice in a day, sometimes not for a month ) something goes
wrong with the ethernet.

I've successfully installed woody (finally!) with only one problem: the
