I probably should mention that dh-make will only use that line if it

I'd ship it as I got it. If you're using CVS it's off, if you're using
the released code it's on. So the solution is simple if it is the
release code you're using.

Of course, you can always delete those lines if you are satisfied that

In that
case you would obviously need a version string.
The problem with the lintian message is the emphasis is on the version
string, rather than why have it depend on gzip in the first place.

Why cannot objectclasses be added? I have done that several times.
Or did you mean LAM cannot add objectclasses yet?
BTW, it would be nice if LAM and directory-manager had some commonality
with each other.

ave to decide if you are going to do this sort of thing all the
time or not. If it this is a once-off, I'd use an epoch. If packaging
rc versions is going to be a regular thing, then you need to decide how
to put your versions so the rc one appear older than the releases.
Most solut
for
0.7.2, the 0.7.1 in front means the real 0.7.2 will be newer.

and a reasonable idea of how to package something and the general

You can test this by using a -B, it shouldn't re-make the doc package

look at the configure script to see if there is some flag you can use to

Perhaps it could be as simple as
