if undocumented(7) is unavailable, I don't see that message. I see "No
manual entry for foo", and then proceed to file a bug. It was only through
further investigation that I realised the bug had already been filed and
that the man page was really a dangling symlink.

Simple question for the day:
Should a package that has a symlink to undocumented(7) also have a Depends:
on the package that contains undocumented(7) (manpages)? It seems silly to
me that a package could have a symlink to a non-existant man page in place
of its own non-existant man page.

on't rely on it working though, you really need to check why the patches
didn't apply, and make sure things are still right.

similar package, as someone on this list pointed out,
is debauch. It has a .so symlink in /usr/lib as well, and a recent policy
version.
> Make sure it's documented, too.
Obviously, otherwise it'd be pretty useless. :)

d objects. dmalloc
has no .so symlink, just libdmalloc.so.4.2 or something. electric-fence does
have a .so symlink, but it's also only an old policy version.
Can someone with more experience, or better understanding of the packaging
manual and policy, please help me out here?
Thanks.
