It has been already solved; unfortunately the official release (1.3.4 or is
it 1.3.5) doesn't support it. Get libtool-1.3b from alpha.gnu.org and us

I have a very annoying problem in my package GQL (GQL.sourceforge.net
for more info).
I have the source package producing various binary packages (mostly
shared libraries); lets call them A and B. The problem is *building*
binary package B (containing library libb) needs liba from package A
