Justin,
I use a Thinkpad 600e (366 MHz, I think?) 192M RAM running Debian testing for
my backup machine (currently using it while I replace my almost never used
Windows partition on my main machine with NetBSD, as a matter of fact :-).
Redrawing windows when switching between work spaces is a
Hi,
I am having some difficulties on one of my Debian Thinkpads with my
Belkin wireless PCMCIA card (manfid: 0x01bf, 0x3302), and thought I
would post the issue to this list before issuing a bug report. Perhaps
it is a configuration issue.
On my a21m I have had the card working for a long time
Hi,
I have a couple of wireless cards that I have previously used under
Debian Sarge/kernel 2.4 to create a wireless access point using the
hostap_cs driver. I have several older Linux thinkpads all running
Debian, and I have recently been in the process of upgrading to the
2.6/udev/pcmciautils wo

Hi,
I recently got an A21m off a friend for a good price, and am much pleased with
it except I can't get it to boot from the internal DVD-RW drive, which does not
appear to be original equipment.
When I go into BIOS to tell it to boot first from the DVD drive, I get an odd
exclamation mark sym
Hi Abhi, I don't know anything about your madwifi drivers, but the process of
rolling your kernel in Debian is very simple once you have it setup. These two
links look pretty helpful:
