Hi all,
I have the same problem too--i prefer acroread as opposed to gpdf but
can't seem to find it in the current testing versions(i don't think i
could find it in stable either). So i have had to do
without acroread ever since i updated to gnome2.4. Does anyone know
where i could get acroread?

Hi all-
I have a Sony PCG FRV-26 laptop running debian with a 2.4.22
kernel. The display card is ATI Radeon which is only supported by
versions of XFree86 4.3 and after. Currently, I have Xfree86 4.2.1 that
comes with the testing versions(i think!) and use the vesa driver for
the display. I have
Does anybody know of functioning backports for xfree86 4.3 and
after?. The ones that i know of don't work anymore. I had problems
compiling xfree864.3 and 4.4 so would prefer using backports. Thanks.

To be quite honest, i don't know why the problem occured in the first
