cpufreqd doesn't deal with filesystems/disks. It monitors some system
parameters and selects the most appropriate

hi,
Finally I put the following line into /etc/hotplug/usb.usermap
wlan 0x0003 0x2c02 0x14ea 0x 0x 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00 0x00
0x
and write a script (/etc/hotplug/usb/wlan) to let it call "ifup wlan0",
then it work!
Thanks

Hi Michael,
Thanks very much for the detailed reply. We have very
similar systems, so it looks like the only thing
standing between me and a working system is my

The Yamaha OPL-SA2 is causing system lockup after a
few seconds of play. there are no errors in
/proc/interupts or /proc/ioports and the card is on a
ISA bus so i pnpdump and there is Nothing
UN-commented, i need help geting this done. i bought
this laptop for MP3 and WiFi
it is an Acer Extensa 367
And by doing so, you'll have two advantages:
1) you do not do anything illegal (sending you a copy of a recovery cd
would violate copyrights and licences)
2) you get a fresh install of the best OS (i.e. Linux) and furthermore,
it's best distribution (i.e. debian)
;-)

Hi,
I needed to know whether I will be able to get Linux to run with my AMD
Athlon processor for my laptop. If so, which architecture-port should I
download, from the debian site.
Thanks.
