I am working on a Installation program.
I need to run that program on Laptop only if it is on power mode and terminate it if it is on Battery mode.
How can I detect the mode of Laptop in VC++.
Pls, help me if u can.
I am stuck in this problem since a week and need to fix it urgently.

And if you want your sript to work for acpi and apm too, than depend on
powermgmt-base debian package, and use /usr/bin/on_ac_power. If we are in a
Debian list, do it the Debian way :)

So has anyone gotten kismet to work on a Powerbook, typical errors I get
is "monitor mode" is invalid for my card. However, MacStumbler seems to
work just fine in OS X. I'm using Ben H's latest stable kernel
2.4.22-pre4-ben0.

upgraded to testing (sarge). I'm running with the Woody default kernel
2.2.20-idepci. It works fine with my PCMCIA NIC and all was well except the
sound.

I have exactly the same problem with my compaq n600c with 1400x105 screen
and ati m6 graphic card
really anoying untill i decided to connect it to a normal moninot uring
install which solved the problem after setting the screen up everything
worked fin after the installation an d no monitor
