on my Dell Inspiron 8100 the clock loses several minutes per hour
--- so much in fact that ntp doesn't work properly. I tried to find
out whether something in my (pretty much standard woody) setup
interferes with the clock, but haven't found anything (in

after i change the setting "ps2" to "fups2" in gpmconfig
my trackpoint getting work now...
but dont know the reason

I have asked this question on debian-user but received no suggestions. It
seems to be fairly common. Maybe someone here has some ideas? I am using
an HP OmniBook 500.
All of my gdk applications give the error:
Gdk-WARNING **: Missing charsets in FontSet creation
Gdk-WARNING **: IS

If so, where do I find some documentation? ( I couldn't find references nor
the Laptop neither in the Hardware HOWTO)

is a great idea. It's working for me.

I've got a Toshiba Satellite 3000 with a DVD-CDR and it works
just fine. I'm using kernel 2.4.17 and Debian 3.0. I've burned CDs
and watched DVDs (using Ogle).
