I built my kernel myself; I built pcmcia-cs myself, just a couple of minutes
later.
When I build pcmcia-cs-3.1.33-6 alongside kernel 2.4.20, I'm not able to use
the orinoco_cs module (and I get the unresolved symbols messages).

It seems that my PC-Card has a Hardware damage. Today I tried it in an
other Notebook (Win) an it doesn't work. So I ordered a new Card.
I will give yo an update wetehr the new Card is working or not!

Yes the adapter doesn't have any firmware but the
CF card you are using in it.
