you better use an entry like this one and put it into a separate file named, e.g. sandisk_cf.conf in the /etc/pcmcia directory: card "ARGOSY PnPIDE" version "ARGOSY", "PnPIDE", "D5" bind "ide-cs" Run `cardctl ident' to get the data of the card, then fill it into the form above. Then restart the PCMCIA-CS service.
