Werde ich mir gleich anschauen ... bin mit Linux nicht so wirklich vertraut.
Was ich bisher aber sehe gefällt mir sehr gut. Danke für den Tip.

I can't get acpi (the battery and power adapter part) to work on a
Compaq Evo N800v, I've tried the last patch from
http://sf.net/project/acpi and it doesn't show the battery state and the
power adapter says it's always connected.
Has anyone made this work on a Compaq Evo N8

I can't get acpi (the battery and power adapter part) to work on a
Compaq Evo N800v, I've tried the last patch from

power adapter says it's always connected.

In all likelihood, the module you want is usb-uhci (that seems
to be the one most commonly used on Evos).

After a month trying to make all the hardware in my Evo n800v work, I
still haven't managed to get USB and PCMCIA to work.
And X sometimes displays itself wrong on startup, I have to switch to a
virtual terminal and back to X in order to see it right.

I'm considering getting a Compaq Evo N800v and I'd like to know if
anyone has tried Linux on it and how well it works. In general, I'd like
to know how do Compaq Evos work with Linux. I've been searching the web
but I've found no info on the subject.
